Asuna Yuuki Vectorby ~FutureDiary

EDIT: I now upgraded my software to Adobe Illustrator CS6 and that got rid of the gradient error lines on the face and hair caused by exporting the file on CS5. I also fixed lots of colouring mistakes on my side.

My first coloured vector of Asuna Yuuki, one of the main characters
  in an animé called Sword Art Online. This took me roughly 3 weeks.

  Asuna Yuuki (結城明日奈 Yūki Asuna) Asuna is the main female
  protagonist of the series. She is a friend of Kirito and is a sub-
  leader of the guild Knights of the Blood Oath, a medium-sized
  guild of about thirty players, also called the strongest guild in
  Aincrad. Being one of the few girls that play SAO, and even more so
  that she's extremely pretty, she receives many invitations and
  proposals. She is a skilled player earning the Title "Flash"
  (閃光 Senkō) for her extraordinary sword skill.

Nice vector, proper detail and minimal use of stroke. Except for the hair sticking out on the upper right, the tips could be improved there.

Besides that small little detail, I really like it.

Looks really nice.

There are a few errors I noticed after seeing the higher resolution here.

You have some of the tips of her hair end in blunt tips rather then points, if you are going to use strokes that's fine but you really should go in and convert the strokes to shapes and then fix the tips.
You also have a few places in her hair where the color does not go all the way to the outline so you can see the background.
They are not huge and at wallpaper size where I would be using the image they are unnoticeable but they still drag the image down a little.

That being said I really like the coloring and the subtle use of gradient add a great deal to the piece and with a little work your work can but up there with the best.

In the full version Asuna has some lines over her face... are they supposed to be there?

Unfortunately, I exported the file incorrectly and it caused gradient error lines to appear. I installed a patch which will fix this problem, but I still have to reupload it, but before all that; I need to get hold on a licensed copy of Illustrator since my Trial version ran out.
